    The ultimate story experience. A polished 5–7 minute film combining new footage from your session with old clips you provide, plus a gallery of 25+ downloadable photos. Licensed music and ambient sound complete the cinematic feel. We’ll plan together exactly what you want captured. View recent family films.

    From $1,500

    Spend an afternoon at home or in the park while I capture your family just being together. A 3–5 minute film will be created from the footage, with licensed music included. Bring along any old footage you’d like to weave into the story. Session is up to 2 hours. View recent family films.

    From $750

    Choose your favorite location either at home or outdoors and let our time together unfold naturally. A watermarked gallery of images will be provided, and 25 high-resolution downloads of your choice are included. Additional downloads or full gallery access available for a fee.

    During your session, your family just is. I guide gently when needed, but mostly, I capture the laughter, cuddles, and playful moments as they unfold naturally. My sessions are very much child led. We go with the flow and keep it stress free.

    After the session, you’ll receive a beautifully curated gallery and/or film to enjoy, share, and keep forever — a memory you can revisit again and again.

Your very own legacy film

Distinct from the popular family session films, a legacy film uniquely allows archived VHStapes, Super 8 film, and even your own cell phone videos to be edited together with new footage - to tell your family’s story.

My father and grandfather collected their own families over the years and collected footage that sat untouched for decades gathering dust. With modern digitizing tools we were able to tearfully view the tapes as we stepped back in a time.

Perfect for the family that respects their history and wishes to pass this gift of memory down as an heirloom to future generations. There is nothing like pressing play and being able to take a step back in history and be immersed in the past… There is something so incredible about sharing with your child, the life before they existed.

This is my family’s legacy film. I’d love to make one for your family.

Family sessions Brooklyn FAQ

  • The best next step is to schedule a call so we can plan your session and make sure we’re the right fit.

  • Anytime that feels meaningful to your family. Sessions at home or in my Bay Ridge studio can happen year-round, while outdoor sessions shine in the spring and fall — especially September and October, my busiest months. Whether you’re marking a milestone, waiting to welcome a baby, or simply wanting to capture life as it is right now, there’s never a wrong time to preserve these moments.

  • Light and fun are the best words to describe our time together. Sessions are completely child-led — I always say they’re the boss! Bring a sippy cup of water and a low-sugar snack just in case they need a little pick-me-up.

    As a parent myself, I know kids sometimes need a breather before carrying on. My goal is to capture you just as you are. I’ll guide you toward the best light, gently pose you, and let moments unfold naturally. We can always try for a classic “everyone-looking-at-the-camera” shot, but chances are your favorites will be the candid, real moments between you.

  • I’m based in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn.

    If “home is where the heart is,” that’s always a wonderful option. Otherwise, location depends on your preference, the season, and the weather. Most sessions from May to October take place outdoors — everyone’s happier being wild and free! I have a few favorite spots, but I’m always open to new ideas.

  • Photo galleries are delivered within three weeks (often sooner). If you need a reasonable rush, just let me know.

    Films take longer — around 12–16 weeks — as the editing process is more involved.

  • Galleries typically include 50–100 watermarked images to choose from, depending on the type of session.

  • A 50% deposit and signed contract secure your date. The remaining balance is due on the day of your session.

    Once you’ve chosen your final images, an invoice will be sent for any additional downloads.

    Payment is accepted via cash, check, Zelle, Venmo, or credit card. Payment plans are also available — just ask.

  • No, I don’t provide raw files. Once your favorites are chosen, I edit them in my signature style.

    You can, however, purchase the entire edited, unwatermarked gallery — which many families choose to do.

  • We’ll always save a rain date just in case. Rescheduling is sometimes necessary.

    Unless we’re planning a snowy shoot, I don’t recommend outdoor sessions below 50°F or above 90°F — kids’ comfort comes first.

  • Yes! I have a car and can travel — mileage fees apply for locations more than 30 miles from Bay Ridge. I also have a passport and love a good adventure with proper planning.

  • Absolutely! Please bring them along — I’ll be sure to include a few special shots with them.

  • Wear something you feel comfortable in. There’s no need to dress formally — the goal is to capture you as you are.

    You can’t go wrong with neutrals and earth tones. Try to avoid bright pinks, bold patterns, or clothing with logos or text (like “big bro”).

  • My goal is to capture your family authentically. While I can outsource specific editing requests, altering your appearance isn’t part of my process.

  • You can also order high-quality prints through my online gallery, or use your preferred print service with the digital files.

  • It brings me great joy to share the beautiful work we create together — that’s how most new clients find me!
    I always ask permission before featuring your photos on my website or social media, and I take online privacy seriously.
